I have enjoyed the book a great deal. I like to read scholarship from different angles and time periods. That is why I chose a book from the late 19th century to study for right now. Burt is clear, concise, and seems so far not to have an agenda. I recommend it to those interested in the philosophies that would eventually influenc early christianity and changed it from origional clear apostolic teachings to mingling Christianity with Greek Philosophy to turn it into an apostate form of what Christ and his Apostles intended.Product details
